The City of Green owns more than 717 acres within the 14 parks and the Myersville Fen Nature Preserve.

A fishing license is required for Southgate Park only. Click here to obtain a fishing license online. A fishing license is not required at Boettler Park.
The Dog Park at Ariss Park is a 1.87 acre off-leash dog run that is open dawn to dusk. Dogs are also permitted in Ariss Park (walking path), East Liberty Park, Central Park, and Southgate Park, but must remain on leash. Dogs may also be walked on leash at Nimisila Reservoir and Knapp Recreation area. Contact the local office of the Ohio Division of Natural Resources at 330-644-2220 for more information on these two locations.
A Special Use application must be obtained through the Parks and Recreation office and submitted for review by the Public Service Department. Call the office at 330-896-6621 for more information.
The north entrance for Southgate Park is located within Boettler Park, 5300 Massillon Road. Follow signs to Southgate Park. The south trailhead parking lot is accessed at 6521 Mt. Pleasant Road.
City of Green parks open at sunrise and close 30 minutes after sunset. The exception to this rule is for scheduled and approved special events and activities.

Pavers may be purchased in the Parks and Recreation Office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., through the online reservation system, or by using the Paver Order Form (PDF).
