Public Meeting Scheduled for September 26 regarding the Recodification of City Ordinances
GREEN, OH – On September 26 at 7 pm, there is a public hearing during the regular City Council meeting to discuss the recodification of Green City ordinances (2023-10). Residents who wish to make a public comment must attend in person. Those interested in hearing the details of the recodification process may watch the proceedings via livestream at cityofgreen.org/agenda.
The City Law Director Lisa Dean launched a thorough review and audit of the City’s codified ordinances published by American Legal Publishing Company. During the audit, several discrepancies were found and corrected. In addition, the following new ordinances are part of the new codified ordinances under review, including:
- Exterior Maintenance Code (2022-06)
- Dangerous Building Codes (2022-16)
- Fireworks Code to align with the Ohio Revised Code
