GREEN, Ohio – Mayor Gerard Neugebauer is pleased to announce the City of Green’s 2022-2023 Class of Student Municipal Representatives. Thirty Green high school students will serve as non-voting members on boards and commissions September through May 2023.
The City of Green Student Municipal Representative Program (SMRP) was created in 2016 under the direction of Mayor Gerard Neugebauer with an inaugural class of 11 students. Now in its 7th year, the SMRP has appointed more than 70 students grades 10 through 12 to work and learn alongside city board and commission members.
This program seeks to encourage civic responsibility and volunteerism while providing hands-on experience in local government. This year’s members include:
