Welcome in the Holidays at the City of Green’s Christmas at Central Park on December 4

GREEN, Ohio – Usher in the holiday spirit at the City of Green’s Christmas at Central Park, 1795 Steese Road, on Saturday, December 4 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Take a photo with Santa, enjoy musical performances, shop holiday crafts, and more!

 

Santa and Tree Lighting

Santa will arrive from the North Pole on a Firetruck at 5:30 p.m. to light the Central Park Christmas tree with Mayor Gerard Neugebauer. Following the tree lighting, Santa can be found on the stage of the amphitheater for photos with guests.

 

Games, Activities, and Musical Performances

Beginning at 4 p.m., hop aboard the Little Roaming Railroad train around Central Park, enjoy lawn games with friends and family, and hit a bullseye on the Frist Tee big golf target. Enjoy holiday music performances by Green Middle School’s 8th Notes Choir from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m.

 

Holiday Crafts and Refreshments

New this year is a little Holly Craft Market to find the perfect holiday gift or decoration in time for Christmas from local artists and crafters. Hot chocolate will be provided along with cookies baked and decorated by Hattie Larlham.

 

Giving Tree

Also new this year is the Giving Tree! Attendees are encouraged to bring a donation pair of gloves or a hat to place on the 20-foot Christmas tree in front of the amphitheater.

 

Parking is available at the Central Park lot off Steese Rd, the Central Administration Building overflow lot adjacent to Kids Country, and Green Memorial Stadium. All events are outdoors snow or shine. Parking and admission are free. No registration required.
