Second Annual Parker’s Trail Challenge Begins September 6
GREEN, Ohio – Explore the expansive trail system in the City of Green with the second annual Parker’s Trail Challenge from September 6 through October 29 to earn rewards and discover the beauty in our City.
Residents and nonresidents who choose to participate can earn rewards by completing the 8 predetermined challenge trails. Selected trails are well maintained, easily accessible, and range from .5 miles to 3.1 miles in length.
This year’s challenge trails can be found at Southgate Park, Boettler Park, Ariss Park, The Chapel in Green, Nimisila Reservoir, Knapp Recreation Area, Central Park, and Veterans Park.
Participants who complete the challenge are eligible to receive a hiking backpack and a challenge completion patch to be displayed on your backpack. Participants who complete the challenge yearly will receive a new patch each year. Backpacks are free but limited to one per family. Additional backpacks may be purchased for $25 each.
