Great Eight Race Series Toes the Line for 2021

GREEN, Ohio – The Green Great Eight Race Series is making a full return for 2021 with the first race set for Saturday, May 1. Registration information can be found at cityofgreen.org/Great8 as it becomes available.

 

The race series brings the City’s large races together with the combined goal of promoting a healthy and active community while benefiting local nonprofit organizations and charities. Complete 5 of the 8 races to receive a Green Great Eight Race Series sweatshirt.

 

“Only a few of our races were able to take place last year.” Said Mayor Gerard Neugebauer, “But we’re looking forward to everyone coming back and we’re hoping for a great turnout.” 

 

Tiered sponsorship packages are available. Information can be found at cityofgreen.org/Great8. This year’s sponsors include Toth Buick GMC, Acme Fresh Market, South Side Leader, Donamarc Water Systems, NOPEC, and the City of Green.

Oak Clinic: Acorn Run 5k Run/Walk

 

Monday, September 6

Green YMCA: Labor of Love 5k, 10k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

 

Sunday, October 10

Bulldog Dash 5k, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, and 200m Youth Run

 

Saturday, October 23

Rayl Charitable Organization: HalloWin 5k

 

Thursday, November 25

Green Professional Association: Turkey Trot 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
