Green’s Student Municipal Representative Class of 2021
GREEN, Ohio – Mayor Gerard Neugebauer is pleased to announce the 2020-2021 Class of Student Municipal Representatives for the City of Green. These 33 high school students have been selected to participate on many of the City boards, commissions and task forces.
The Student Municipal Representative program seeks to encourage civic responsibility and volunteerism while providing first-hand experiences. A new addition to this year’s program is the Mayor’s Junior Council in which selected Student Representatives will meet with the Mayor several times throughout the year for legislative review and discussion of current topics. All students serve as non-voting members for a one-year term from September through May.
The following members have been selected for this year’s Student Municipal Representative class:
Green High School Seniors Sophia Miller, Ayesha Qureshi, and Ben Stauffer
Board of Zoning Appeals:
Green High School Senior Samuel Vansickle and Sophomore Grant Kuwatch.
Design Review Board:
Green High School Senior Noah Pilgram and Sophomore Claudia San Jose.
Diversity Inclusion Equity:
Green High School Seniors Xavier Adekunle and Anthony Barnes, Juniors Eden Deger and Angela Salmons, and Sophomore Aaryan Qureshi.
Drug Task Force:
Green High School Seniors Shareef Awadallah and Isabelle Khoury, Junior Margaret Edwards, Sophomore Eric Wolford, and Our Lady of the Elms Junior Alexa Renner.
Historic Preservation Commission:
Green High School Juniors Rachel Bologa, Reagan Doan, and Tyler Fisk.
Living Green Task Force:
Green High School Seniors Ethan Corey and Taylor Funai, Juniors Shareen Awadallah, Rachel Pritchard, and Nathan Byers
Parks and Recreation Board:
Green High School Seniors Parker Doerrer and Isabella Hemphill, Junior Delanie Hallock, and Sophomore Isabella Scott.
Planning and Zoning Commission:
Green High School Seniors Kevin Carr. Grace Grissom, and Saad Yousef, and Bio-Med Science Academy Senior Autumn Groen.
