City of Green Reinstitutes Mask Requirement for Employees and Visitors to City Administrative Buildings
Green, OH – The City of Green is reinstituting its mask policy in all City of Green administration buildings for all employees and visitors, effective Wednesday, August 11, until further notice.
Due to the increase in Covid-19 cases with Summit County designated as an area of substantial COVID transmission, especially of the new Delta variant, the CDC and Summit County Public Health recommends masking indoors for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.
Employees and visitors are required to wear masks in all public indoor spaces regardless of vaccination status. Employees working outside or independently at their individual workstations are permitted to remove their masks as they work.
Private groups who rent City indoor spaces – the John Torok Center and the Central Park Community Hall – should follow the current recommended CDC guidelines.
