Event Description
Join us for the Breakfast with the Bunny and Easter Egg Hunt at Central Park, hosted by the City of Green DEI Committee, Ohio's Parent Mentor Project and the Rotary Club of Green. Tickets are required for the breakfast. The Easter Egg Hunt is free to attend. Thank you to Girl Scout Troop #90109 for stuffing the eggs!

Everyone will gather in the Amphitheater area at the start of the event for instructions; the hunt will be within Central Park. The rules of the Easter Egg Hunt are as follows: There are two age groups - 5 years and under and 6 to 10 years old (parents can assist the 5 and under group); NO running; and, a limit of six eggs per child (verify your six eggs for a prize). Rain or shine (unless it is storming), no rain date. Please bring your own Easter basket.
Parker and the Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures!
Event Description
Celebrate Arbor Day at the Central Administration Building for a Tree Planting Ceremony on Friday, April 29. Our Arbor Day celebration includes the planting of an Ann Magnolia tree in the circle in front of the CAB, Mayor Gerard Neugebauer presenting the Proclamation, the awarding of the winner of the Largest Tree Contest, and light refreshments will be provided in the lobby afterwards.
The Largest Tree Contest is open to all residents who would like to participate and believe they have the largest diameter tree on their property. The City of Green arborist will take official measurements and photos of submitted trees to determine which is the largest. The winner will receive an engraved brick noting the largest tree. Entries are due Sunday, April 17 by 9 p.m. To participate, please complete the online form here.

Event Description
Please join us at the Boettler Park Pond on Saturday, May 13, 2023 for our Fishing Derby! Registration will begin onsite at 8:45 a.m. and the derby will start at 9:00 a.m. We ask for poles to be taken out of the water at 11:00 a.m.
The age groups are: 5 years old and under, 6 to 7 years old, 8 to 9 years old, and 10 to 12 years old. This event is for 12 years old and under only. Smaller children can be helped a parent or guardian.
There will be awards in each age group for the longest and shortest fish caught, the most fish caught, and more!
This event is free! No pre-registration is required.
Participants must bring their own fishing pole and bait!

Memorial Day Parade
Join us for the annual Memorial Day Parade! Watch floats and enjoy fun with family and friends. If you wish to enter the parade, please see our information letter here.
Parade Route:
The parade steps off at 10 a.m. from Green High School, 1474 Boettler Road. The tentative parade route travels east on Boettler Road to Massillon Road south (south bound lanes only) to Steese Road west to the Green Intermediate School, back to the Green High School parking lot via Bulldog Boulevard. This could change due to the current Massillon Road construction project. Stay tuned!
Memorial Day Ceremony
There will be a short ceremony beginning at 12:00 p.m. at the Green Veterans Memorial Park, 1900 Steese Road. The ceremony will honor both our fallen heroes and local veterans, as two local veterans will be recognized by Mayor Neugebauer and the Green community.
Parking for the Memorial Day Ceremony is available at the Fire Station #1 (handicap parking only), John Torok Senior/Community Center, Queen of Heaven Church, and the Anthony Funeral Home. Please note Steese Road will be shut down to traffic during the Memorial Ceremony.
Car Show and Picnic
The Memorial Day Car Show and Picnic will begin immediately following the Memorial Day Ceremony and end at 3:00 p.m. Parking for participating vehicles begins at 7:30 am at the John Torok Center, 4224 Massillon Rd.
