It’s time to officially welcome in the community with a party and proper open house to celebrate one year of service for Green Fire Station #3 on Saturday, September 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fire Station #3, 3795 Mayfair Road. 

Construction of Fire Station #3 was completed and opened for service in September 2020. Due to COVID restrictions, the City was unable to host its open house at the time.  Green Fire is pleased to share its newest fire station with a one-year anniversary celebration and community open house for the entire family. 

 Our community open house event will feature live training demonstrations, a tour of the station, family-friendly activities including touch-a-truck, photos with Firepup, food trucks, and fire prevention games and activities.

Watch our firemedics in action as they extricate a “training dummy” from a car, repel from the Station #3 Training Tower, bail out of a window, and more! Training demonstrations will be held at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 p.m.

Tour the station, put out a “house fire,” Touch-a-Truck, learn how to use a fire extinguisher, take a photo with Firepup and more! The community open house event will feature FREE fire prevention education games and activities for the whole family.

Food and Parking

Light refreshments will be provided or stop by the D&M food truck to pick up lunch! Parking for the event will be at the Chapel in Green 1800 Raber Road. A free shuttle service will pick up and drop off to and from the designated parking area. Limited handicap parking and drop off will be available at Fire Station #3.

Registration is not required for this free event. Event will be held rain or shine.
