Board of Zoning Appeals
The Board of Zoning Appeals hears and rules on variance applications from property owners requesting to vary the terms of city code.

Charter Review Commission
Every 7 years, the City of Green's Charter is reviewed and updated. The Charter Review Commission is appointed by the mayor and approved by City Council.

Civil Service Commission
The Commission was established to provide a merit system for appointments and promotions without regard for political patronage, promote standards for job performance and professional conduct and to safeguard classified employees from unwarranted charges of misconduct, discrimination or removal from the public service.

Design Review Board
The Design Review Board is charged with the review of design elements submitted for review.

Historic Preservation Commission
The Historic Preservation Commission was established to preserve those elements which reflect the City's cultural, social, economic, educational, political or architectural heritage and so safeguard the distinctive character of the City.

Parks & Recreation Board
The Parks and Recreation Board is responsible for advising the Mayor and Council on the acquisition, development, maintenance and operation of the parks and recreational facilities of the city.

Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission is responsible for promoting orderly growth and development within the City utilizing the development codes adopted by City Council. The Commission is also charged with assisting in the development of the City's Long-Range Land Use Plan, a document utilized in planning for future development and making recommendations for the most desirable use of the land within our City.

Records Commission
The Records Commission is mandated per Ohio Revised Code and must consist of Mayor, Finance Director, Law Director, and one citizen appointed by the Mayor.
